Yes these Hollywood Regency gems are vintage (circa 1970’s or 80’s), but they’re not Milo Baughman or Mies van der Rohe BRNO chairs. They’re actually made by American of Martinsville, not Knoll. So what’s the difference? These are heavier duty, more comfortable and much harder to find. Our team had no idea that AOM every manufactured a cantilever flat bar brass armchair like this, and we had no luck finding them listed anywhere else. Oh, and one other difference, we have these listed for half the price, and they’re fully restored unlike the majority of BRNO armchairs floating around the internet. The Furnish Me Vintage restoration team knocked these out of the park and spared to expense. The new, forest green / dark emerald velvet feels smooth as butter and compliments the brass perfectly. The seat and back interiors have been evenly stuffed and reinforced to ensure both comfort, tight fit and straight lines. The comfort level is 9.5 out of 10. The original brass finish has been hand polished allowing the metals to gleam in the light. Perfect for any Mid-Century Modern or Hollywood Regency interior.
