Vintage 1977 Franz Gostisha original lithograph, “Poetic Tendencies.” The name seems perfectly suited for the ethereal abstract image. The image is without form but loaded with allegory. It appears at the vestige of a dream. Parts seem recognizable but nothing truly takes an affirmative shape. “Poetic Tendencies” appears just as the artist suggest, a seemingly wistful dance through the psyche. Here ideas and dreams flow freely without being burdoned by reason. The original fine art print is pencil signed by the artist and dated, July, 1977. The piece is housed in a reddish-brown wood frame and outfitted in a dijon and burgundy double matte.
