Unique German Modern rosewood small vertical dresser by Moser. This five drawer “high boy” is not quite so high. It stands at 37″ tall, but still packs quite a bit of storage capacity. A deep bottom drawer accompanies the four typical size drawers. This larger drawer can be used for blankets or sweaters. The figuring and color on the rosewood is exquisite. Like a jewel, the look of the rosewood transforms as light moves through the high and lows tones of the wood grain. It is quite uncommon to find German furniture here in the states. This piece was likely brought to America by someone in the military. Moser’s label reads “Erste Klasse WohnKomfort” — which loosely translates to “first class living comfort.”
This chest of drawers will certainly make for comfortable living with its compact form. It’s ideal for those in small spaces that need ample private storage.
