Rare teak hutch made in Germany by Bartels Möbelstück. We don’t often see teak furniture from Germany that looks so perfectly Danish modern. This is one of more interesting teak hutches we’ve had the pleasure to present. The craftsmanship is exquisite and the original owner treated this piece like a jewel. It is in excellent overall condition and only required moderate restoration. This is a two-piece unit with the glass door hutch top resting on a cabinet base. The upper portion is versatile with open shelving behind lock and key glass door display. The lower portion also has the option to lock shut. The exterior is teak and the interior appears to be beech or maple.
