Description
Original abstract painting, dated 1967, signed “Goldberg.” This piece parallels Abstract Expressionist work from the New York School active during the same period. The abstract piece features frenzied brush strokes of black, red and white on canvas. Goldberg was generous with his application of paint. The impasto technique gives depth and texture the otherwise 2-dimensional piece. Strokes collide like waves on stormy seas. The painting is housed in it’s original frame.
