So totally retro, this piece was showcased at the 1963 World’s Fair in New York City as an example of innovative modern furniture. The Grand Server features Ingenious mid-century design. The brand new flat black laminate tabletop slides open on a layer of felt. Simply pull up the exposed bottle holder which locks into place at table-height. When finished entertaining, lift up on the server unlock it, drop it down, and then slide the top closed. There are interior glass shelves to place your bar-ware and a large hidden area that will conceal your cocktail supplies. Lock the top shut to keep things safe and sound. The exterior is wrapped in a beautiful grass reed cane in excellent condition. The unit has been elevated on sturdy metal hairpin legs (post market modification with vintage legs).
