Description
One-of-a-kind midcentury Scandinavian Modern Danish teak credenza by Gunni Oman for Axel Christensen Odder Mobler.
What makes this one of a kind? Well, the original sliding doors had severely damaged pulls, so our rehabilitation team collaborated to re-imagine what you see here. We custom made three sliding doors and wrapped them in faux black leather. The new ipe teak pulls are simple but stately. This cabinet as a prime example of expert Scandinavian cabinet making. The column of Arne Vodder style drawers are behind the center door. There is no want for storage in this extra long teak credenza. The left and rights sides have an open space with a single, removable or adjustable height teak shelf. Signature Danish styling here. Ideal for use as an entertainment console or sideboard buffet. Made in Denmark, vintage 1960s
Not only did our restoration team do an amazing job detailing this Danish teak bookcase, but they restored the top and mitigated nearly all the flaws on top. Only very minor imperfections remain (see pic).
