We purchased from the original owners who kept the butterfly leaf stowed safely inside since birth in the 1950’s. The teak leaf received less oxidation, so you can clearly see the how the top exhibits a contrasting amber tone. Not only is the set beautiful, but this suite features the prized 3-leg wedge chairs. Absolutely incredible, original, unmolested Roundette Suite by Hans Olsen for Frem Rojle. The iconic “Roundette” set is a marvel of Scandinavian ingenuity. One cannot help but to be dazzled by the clever, space-saving design. The six guitar pic shaped chairs with original black leather seats snug neatly up to the table, fitting into the table trim like puzzle pieces. The set has been professionally detailed by our in-house restoration team.

The round Danish teak table has a butterfly leaf extension leaf allows one to transform the table from a 47 in. circle to a 67 in. oval. The table leaf folds on hinges and stores neatly beneath the table top. This dining set perfectly embodies the tenants of Danish design, simple yet elegant silhouettes, maximum functionality and a small physical imprint. Designers and decorators short on space will love this set as you don’t have to sacrifice style for utility.
