Description
The C3318 Airflow buffet was designed by Heywood Wakefield and 1937 and continued production until 1939. Distinct 1930s styling is evident in the blending of Art Deco and Machine Age motifs on the drawer pulls. The solid maple wood buffet has stood the test of time aesthetically and functionally. Cabinet doors flanking the left and right side are complimented by spacious drawers for ample storage. Use the cabinet as a credenza to host your television and electronics or as a sideboard in the dining room as it was originally intended. The buffet is the original “Amber” finish. Our in-house design team has professionally refinished the top surface.

Heywood Wakefield
Heywood Wakefield is one of the most recognized names among American mid-century modern collectors. “HeyWake” furniture was one of the few manufacturers to remain committed to solid wood construction post WWII. Originally all furniture was made of solid maple wood but switched to birch wood by 1940s. As such, their furniture is coveted for the exceptional craftsmanship. The signature eagle logo was not adopted until 1949. Post 1949 furniture will display the logo inside drawers, on the underside of tables or back side of headboards. There is no mistaking that when you buy Heywood Wakefield, you are buying something that is built to last.
