Vintge black Naugahyde Mid-Century Modern Heywood Wakefield lounge chair with ottoman. Model 710D in “Walnut” finish. Chair tilts and swivels to give a reclining position when the occupant leans back. Four star aluminum bases will withstand many more decades of use. Original tag under ottoman. A fine piece of American craftsmanship from one of the most revered maker’s of the 20th century.
Condition:
Original Naugahyde back cushion and arms. New, matching leather on ottoman and seat professionally reupholstered. Pulled seams on back cushion. New seat webbing and clips. Minor, age-appropriate wear on chair frame back. Tiny cosmetic punctures on back cushion. Ottoman wood accents fully refinished and restored by our in-house cabinet shop.
