Description
Original Mid Century Modern Heywood Wakefield small credenza. Constructed of solid birch wood, outfitted in their famous Champagne finish. This is a later model of Wakefield, produced in the 1960s. Note how the design takes on a more angular, Danish look rather than than Wakefield’s earlier, Deco styled rounded edges. Elevated from the ground with sculptural, outwardly flared legs. Wide lower cabinet space with a single adjustable height shelf inside. Two drawers up top, one with a felt lined silverware organizer (removable). Maker’s mark stamped in the left drawer.
