Description
First off, we rarely see burl this captivating. These door fronts look like a Rorschach test on LCD. We often remind our customers not to get hung up on designers when shopping for their interiors. Opportunities like this can be lost. This absolutely stunning bull maple cabinet was not made in Italy, nor does it have a designer pedigree. It was made by Lane Furniture of Virginia and it is an absolute drop-dead gorgeous show-stopper that literally has evoked gasps from our shoppers. Neo-deco, modern, and Hollywood Regency styles have been combined perfectly to create this bold and stunning two-piece lighted China cabinet. Rare burl maple wood and exquisite brass play harmoniously together and exude tasteful decadence from a by-gone decade of bold expression and experimentation. This Hollywood Regency Burl Maple piece is most likely inspired by the work of Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin. The lighted interior casts a warm glow over six, mint condition glass display shelves. The curved arches on top of the cabinet doors help to soften the overall linear design and allow this piece to be more aesthetically versatile and approachable.
The lower section can function as a stand alone credenza. The top and sides are finished in oak and have been restored by our in-house cabinet shop. This Hollywood Regency burl maple cabinet is in near mint condition and ready for your home.
