Description
This colossal coffee table is a harmonious blend of Hollywood Regency, Edwardian and French styles. The rich, dark wood appears to be a combination of perhaps mahogany and cherry. The wood is purposefully and artistically distressed by the designer, so the natural looking “imperfections” add a subtle touch of character and distinction to form. Not to be outdone by the elegant, carved cabriole legs, the sinuous and substantial scalloped edges are emphasized and dramatic. This luxurious coffee table was purchased from a mansion estate in East Tennessee. The table is attributed to Marge Carson Furniture, but there are no labels.
At 57 inches square, this massive chantilly parquet style surface with contrasting wood tones, has ample real estate for even the largest of events.
