You won’t find another pair of these Nineteen-Laties, jaw-dropping mind-blowers. This is the what you get when the DNA of a pod chair is spliced with a softball and a clementine. The original owners had them colored orange (from tan) a couple decades ago and we purchased them in essentially the same shade you see here. The difference, is that our team spent countless hours updating the color with several new coats of dye and sealer. The chairs look better than ever, and certainly more exciting than their birth in tan. It’s difficult to convey the overall quality of the materials and construction without feeling the chairs IRL. The stitching and leather fitting are on par with any high-end maker. You’ll notice not only the heft and durability of the leather, but the balance and near effortless glide and rotation of the swivel mechanism. We’re uncertain who designed them, but they’re quintessentially PO-MO and fun beyond parallel. We dare you to sit in these chairs and frown. It simply can’t be done.
Manufactured in Quebec by Jaymar. 100% leather from top to bottom. Bases are wrapped / stitched in leather. Chairs swivel 360 degrees. Both chairs are tagged underneath bases.
