Our team restored this solid teak desk to excellent condition. This is the first time any of us have seen this style desk and it’s very likely to be the last. Researching Silkeborg Mobelfabrik came up with no similar results and it’s certainly unlike anything Silkeborg has ever made. The biomorphic kidney shape top is amazing all by itself. When combined with the drum column and spindle post supports, you’re looking at a truly fascinating evolution from a traditional Scandinavian desk. Art Deco and Mid-Century Modern design inspirations combine magically to form this unique piece.
Beautifully finished on all sides and stunning from every angle. The curved-front column of drawers roll out effortlessly on metal glides and provide surprisingly ample storage. The construction, fit and finish are second to none.
