Description
Vintage Danish Modern credenza by Laurits M Larsen. Ideal for use as a sideboard or entertainment center. Three sliding doors at front allow easy access to cabinet interior. Minimalist facade is accented by elegantly sculpted recessed teak pulls. Three bay design with a single adjustable height shelf in each bay.
Our restoration team loved working on this perfectly proportioned cabinet. The amber/orange tone in the teak wood indicates a late 60’s to early 70’s vintage. The artfully carved bifurcated recessed pulls come together to complete a full ellipse. The design is simple and seamless. A celebration of Scandinavian minimalism. The sideboard is both beautiful and high functioning with ample private storage space and adjustable / removable shelving. This cabinet is a mix of solid teak, composite material, and teak veneer over a solid pine core. Replete with finished back.
Not only did our restoration team do an amazing job detailing this Danish teak credenza, but they restored the top and doors. Nearly all flaws have been mitigated and only very minor imperfections remain.
