Vintage 1980s Post Modern tesselated stone coffee table with oval glass. Crafted from solid mactan stone in a tessellated arrangement. Mactan Stone is a kind of white coral quarried in Philippines. The massive, smooth, tessellated stone orbs that sit atop the coral feature exotically marbled earth tone veins. The modern design is perfectly complimented and contrasted by the organic fractured facade. The exposed fractured facades add another dimension of both texture and heft. Although this piece looks heavy and monumental, the Mactan stone material is actually relatively light weight and easy to move.
