“La Guitare Bicolore” is a cubist limited edition print by prolific French Artist, Marcel Mouly. The image is pencil signed and numbered, 203/390. Marcel Mouly was born in 1918 and studied under celebrated modernist sculptor Jacques Lipchitz. It is Lipchitz who mentored Mouly, exposing the artist to Cubism. After his time with Lipchitz, Mouly went on to exhibit alongside Matisse and become friendly with modern art legends Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso and Franz Klein. Mouly has firmly cemented himself as a progeny of the Paris School with dozens of solo exhibitions.
