Mid-Century Modern era Brutalist style drummer sculpture. The figure is created from a resin, fashioned to look like molten metal. The goopy gold and black surface appears to draw inspiration from Brutalist design icon Paul Evans. The figure is frozen in mid rhythm of banging his bongo. The piece is mounted to a solid wood pedestal.
