Rare vintage 1950s Arthur Umanoff for Raymor desk with matching chair. Designer Arthur Umanoff was one of the most iconic tastemaker’s of 20th century design in America. Creating work for such esteemed companies as Shaver Howard, Herman Miller and Raymor amongst others. His distinctive style is instantly recognizable. This desk exhibits his hallmark wrought iron structure with solid wood slat shelving and roped facades. A white laminate platform provides a smooth work surface for writing. The desk is finished in the round and features a top drawer and side shelf. The compact size is ideal for small spaces like apartments, studios, condos and live-work spaces.
