Description
Spectacular mid century modern Asian platform sofa. Super long! All original with raspberry red tweed upholstery. Designed by Norman Fox MacGregor. Tag is present on sofa deck. Marble topped end tables are attached to the base. Center couch rests atop the long black lacquer base. Don??t worry, the base splits into two pieces. The sofa breaks down into five pieces; the couch at center, two platform pieces, and two marble tops. A modern example of chinoiserie. Note the pagoda style accent atop the back rest borrowed from Chinese architecture. Feet on the base are also Chinese. Completely upholstered. Foam is good with no hardening. Upholstery is ready to use with no stains or unsightly wear.

Condition
Clean upholstery with no stains. Rips on under side of one seat cushion (not visible during normal use). Marble tops have scratches throughout and a ring stain. (see photos)
