Retro 1958 Scoop Chair by Carter Bros. This is American Mid Century Modern at it’s height. Fantastic organic inspired leaf-like scoop profile to the chair. Notice how the front tip of the chair flairs upward. Who says the Danes have all the style. This sexy little number was conjured up right here in the states. Original green vinyl upholstery is in excellent condition with no rips or stains. Constructed of layers of laminated wood, similar to a Plycraft or Cherner chair method. Atomic legs bring back memories of the space age. Very comfortable, this chair has a natural leaned back lounge position.
