Description
Vintage 1950s era Danish style, blond wood frame sofa by Rway. Perhaps designed by Eliel Saarinen (Eero’s father) during his tenure at the American furniture manufacturer, Rway. This piece exhibits some quintessential Scandinavian elements in it’s minimalistic, yet beautiful form. Note the gently sculpted dainty arms on the couch frame. Original metal spring support structure is in great shape with no breaks or corrosion. Light colored wood and soft, inviting, upholstery add a warm touch to the sometimes cold Mid Century Modern design schemes.
Excellent vintage condition. Upholstery is blemish and odor free. Cushions are all in great shape.
