Mid-Century Modern rocking chair resembling work by Danish designers Niels Moeller and Hans Wegner. The chair features elegant roped back and seat, stretched over a solid wood frame. The long, graceful runners, create a gentle rocking motion when prompted. Although unmarked, the chair exhibits quality craftsmanship. Take a look at the beautifully tied knots terminating the rope wear it joins the wood. The rope weaving has held true to form, tight, no sagging. The roping is in excellent condition as well with no tears or breaks. The chair has a lovely honey colored patina on both the wood and rope. The gentle rocking motion is the perfect salve for frayed nerves. Place this chair in a nursery to lull baby to sleep. The Danish Modern style rocking chair is just as helpful for relaxing adults.

Condition: Chair has been cleaned, tightened, and detailed. No breaks in roping. Some minor cosmetic flaws on wood frame. Seat has a slight light spot.
