Vintage dining chairs designed by John Van Koert for Drexel. This set consists of 4 chairs, one arm chair and three armless side chairs. Professionally reupholstered in high quality black vinyl. Walnut and pecan wood construction with sculptural design. Beautifully sculpted. The soft curves show Van Koert’s experience as a jewelry designer. Van Koert specifically intended to have “no abrupt angles” in his Profile collection. These retro chairs are from Van Koert’s “Profile” line for Drexel. Produced from 1955-1961.
