Description
Group of five mid-century modern wood carved figurines by Dominican artist Frank Coronado. Each figure is hand painted in brilliant white, red, yellow, blue and green geometric shapes with black outline. The design is inspired by the Cubist work of Pablo Picasso, which was inspired by traditional West African art. The totem like figures show aesthetic influence from the blend of cultures found in Coronado’s native Dominican Republic.
