Maybe it was your grandfather or your father’s favorite chair. Perhaps you remember sitting at the foot of one while opening Christmas presents. It’s a chair that has embedded itself in the memories of generations of Americans. Many don’t survive, because they were so loved and so used. This chair is as vivaciously blue as it was off the assembly line in 1971. It rocks, and it reclines, incrementally… all the way to a flat bed-like position.
