Amazing condition vintage 1960s/1970s lounge chair. Form greatly influenced by the work of Brazilian Mid Century Modern design luminary, Percival Lafer. Masculine, heavily tufted black vinyl appears to be original — and in amazing shape! Wide and deep, chair is very comfortable. The large womb like seat envelopes the body. Danish style “floating” look with the bulk of the chair seeming to effortlessly balance in the solid walnut wood frame. As comfy as it gets for Eames era furniture. Reminiscent of late Danish Modern hunting chairs. The perfect throne for the man of the house. Pair this chair with our black cube Baughman style sofa.
33.5" Wide x 32" Deep x 29.5" High (15.5" seat height)
Excellent condition. Time capsule piece! Some small scratches on the feet.
