Rita Sargen artisan lamp circa 1950s. Signed by the artist on the back of the lamp. No chips or cracks in the ceramic. This piece also comes with a fabulous retro fiberglass lampshade (worth over $100 alone). The shade is also in great vintage condition. The lamp works lights up like a charm. Designer Mid Century Modern lighting at it’s best.
Rita Sargen b. 1924, Evanston Illinois is an American artist and sculptor. Her finest work in sculpture and ceramics/pottery was created in the Mid Century between the 1950s & 1960s. She created many celebrated works in clay including a series of sought after lamps, such as this one.
