Outstanding mid century modern breakfront china cabinet by Milo Baughman for Drexel. The rare piece is from Drexel’s “Perspective” collection, vintage 1950’s. Made in America with exotic Mindoro wood from the Phillipines. Mindoro is most exquisite with a mesmerizing glittering quality. Light dances within the swirls of deep gold, caramel, and dark chocolate hues within the wood grain. The wood closely resembles mahogany, but with a distinctive gem-like quality to the coloration. The unit features a cabinet on the lower left and right, with the two center doors opening to an additional cabinet. The two center glass doors open, with adjustable shelves on the left and right sides.
