Set of six walnut cane back dining chairs by White Furniture Company from their Cosmopolitan line. This set of six Mid-Century Modern chairs includes two captain’s chairs with arms and four arm-less side chairs. Arched high backs with sleek minimalist design. Walnut frames with original fly-spec finish. The rattan backs and new nubby green fabric help to add class to any dining room set. Our restorations team picked out this fabric not only for its beautiful compliment to the walnut frames, but for the authentic look.
These cane back dining chairs were sold new and purchased in 1968 from the same building that our furniture store (Furnish Me Vintage) now resides in. That’s right, we have the original sales receipt from Standard Furniture to document this fact. Not only that, but we purchased these chairs from those very same original owners. Also included are the original brochures and hang tags that were lovingly preserved. Matching sideboard and dining table sold separately.
All chairs have been restored to excellent vintage condition.
