Description
Sold as a pair. One price for two chairs
This pair of outstanding neo-deco chairs are unmarked, but absolutely remarkable in craftsmanship. Each element of this chair was carefully constructed and designed. Most striking are the masterfully turned and bowed arms. Notice how they arch upward but also twist with an elegantly finished knife edge toward the back. Achieving this form is not easy. The bent wood terminates at the legs and peaks in an arch to form the arm. This appears to be a single, seamless piece of wood. Look closely to see finely fused fingers joints unifying three sections of wood that create the arm/leg bow. The back rest is equally magnificent. The Art Deco inspired back rest holds a secret surprise. The circular disc at center can be removed! The disc is purely decorative. Making it removable gives the owner the ability to customize their look. Both chairs have been updated with brand new, full grain leather hide on the seats.
