The new upholstery on these chairs features alternating geological colors in the veining are the perfect harmony of abstract modernism and natural beauty. Button tufting on the barrel shaped back rests add a classic, tailored accent that brings it all together.
Labeled “Selig, made in Denmark”, and designed by Finn Andersen. A search online will reveal that these chairs are often incorrectly attributed to Danish designer, Ib Kofod-Larsen. Original orbit casters on front legs offer practical function, movement and form. Exquisite finger-joint detail on the backs, connect long, bowed architectural spanners and blade-arms that culminate the unique barrel shape. Extremely comfortable and wider than most Danish lounge chairs. These heirloom quality pieces are functional art, something a weary body and an adoring eye can enjoy. Andersen has transformed the ordinary to the extraordinary with his take on the lounge chair.
Expertly restored. The walnut wood has been delicately touched up and detailed. Some light wear remains on wood frames.
