Description

Paul Evans was an American born furniture designer, sculptor, and artist, who is famous for his contributions to American furniture design and the American Craft Movement of the 1970s. We are pleased to present Evan’s Cityscape coffee table in captivating and rare, black steel. The monumental form mimics a hash-tag. The surface is made of a patchwork of steel plates over a wood frame. The sleek dark metal body has a distinct Nineteen-Laties post-modern appeal. Handmade in the United States during the 1970s, signed “An Original Paul Evans.” The table is outfitted with a brand new piece of 48″ diameter glass. You will receive a luxurious half-inch thick glass top with polished edge as pictured.

Glass: 48” Diameter x .5” thick

Glass: 30.125″ x 30.125″ x 15″

30 1/8” Wide square x 15” high base (no glass)
Light wear throughout including scratches, oxidization, indentions and ghost spots. The dark tone diminishes he flaws but they can be seen in bright light.
