Description
Vintage 1960s amorphic pink and green Murano glass dish. The dynamic shape looks as though a splash has been frozen still. It’s as if the artist dropped a dollop of liquid pink glass, and that moment was forever captured. Goopy rays of luminescent, rosy pink, compliment the rich emerald green emanating from the base. The dish radiates as light passes through its prismatic form. The dish is functional but it seems to be best appreciated as a purely ornamental object. As light changes throughout the day, coursing over and through the glass, it exemplifies an ever changing character. Keeping the bowl empty allows one to appreciate the full breath of its optical magic.
