Vintage 1960s Danish teak CADO wall shelving system with modular components. The ingenious design allows one to easily customize a shelving and storage display. Mount the four support poles to the wall. All of the shelves and cabinets effortlessly attach to the supports using dowels. If you can push in a thumbtack, you can manipulate these shelves. The CADO Royal System has become an icon of the era for it’s beauty and practicality. This group comes with a cabinet featuring a drop down door. Use this locking cabinet as a bar or secretary desk. Mirrors line the back and a single drawer lies inside the bar/secretary cabinet. Display glassware or decorative objects in the lighted display case. There is a single shelf inside the glass covered display cabinet. Two settings allow you to adjust the display cabinet’s interior shelf height. Developed in the 1960s by Danish architect Poul Cadovius, the brilliant design remains as timeless icon of mid century ingenuity.
