Mid-Century Modern Danish teak wall mounted shelving system designed by Poul Cadovius. The vintage 1960s Danish teak CADO wall mounted shelves come in a 3-bay configuration. The system is modular. The ingenious design allows one to easily customize the height, position and amount of shelves. Mount the four support poles to the wall. The shelves effortlessly attach to the supports using dowels. If you can push in a thumbtack, you can maneuver these shelves. The CADO Royal System has become an icon of the era for it’s beauty and practicality. This group comes with a single magazine shelf (angled shelf with a front lip.) Eleven more standard shelves are included. Seven of the shelves are 8.625″ deep, the remaining four shelves are 11.75″ Deep. Developed in the 1960s by Danish architect Poul Cadovius, the brilliant design remains as timeless icon of mid century ingenuity.
