Restored Ficks Reed “Far Horizons” vintage Asian inspired rattan living room set. Designed by John Wisner in in 1954 the Far Horizons collection remains a desirable, timeless classic. Inspired by the tropical lands of the the East, the rattan sofa, armchair, coffee table and end table feature Asian motifs. The sofa has stylish woven panels along the back rest and bamboo tied joints. The original label is present on the deck. Campaign style brass caps punctuate the armchair and sofa. The coffee table has a unique pagoda style. White tiles with asian characters adorn the top of the side table. The sofa and armchair have both been restored with new custom made cushions and throw pillows. All upholstery is new.
This sofa has been restored with custom made, newly fabricated cushions upholstered in kiwi green fabric. The multi-colored decorative pillows are custom made and new. The throw pillows on the chair and sofa are included with purchase. New decking fabric has been added on top of the original deck to preserve and protect the springs. You’ll be the first to enjoy this like-new, vintage rattan sofa.

Condition details:
Sofa and armchair are restored with new cushions and throw pillows. Coffee table and end table are original. Coffee table has one faint water ring on top. End table has one leg that is angled a bit but stable.
