Rare restored mid-century modern sofa by Illum Wikkelso for N. Eilersen. This classic Danish Modern piece has been updated with new full grain leather upholstery in a quilted pattern. Our restoration includes new cushion foam, new webbing support straps along with the new custom leather upholstery. Brilliantly designed with each section of the sofa being an individual module. This system allows one to customize the sofa length. Add or remove sections to make a single chair, two-seat sofa, three-seat sofa or four-seat sofa as pictured. You may have seen this model before with two or three seats, but this is the very first time we’ve ever seen a four-seat configuration. A rare find indeed! Solid teak frames are in clean original condition. Chairs bear the maker’s mark and Danish Control seal – a designation reserved for only the finest Danish furniture manufacturers.
