Restored leather three-piece Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Danish teak sectional sofa. This leather sofa set comes with two independent daybeds and a corner table. The two daybed sofas and side table can be used independently or arranged as a sectional. Get creative with the arrangement. Position them side by side to create one long sofa. You can also place them in an “L” shape with the corner table between them. Alternatively, station the daybeds face to face with the table in the center. The sofas both feature a clever trick! Each have convertible arms that drop down and double as end tables!
The FMV restoration team spared no expense with this restoration. The sofas are clade in new, beautiful, full grain leather. The dusty-brick colored leather is a brilliant compliment to the teak wood frames. The texture is smooth with a light pebble and satin sheen.
The cane arms contrast and complement the solid teak while adding texture and a bit of flare to an otherwise disciplined Danish minimalism. With just a push of a button, the hinged cane armrests can drop-down to provide their multi-functions.
Made in Denmark and imported by John Stuart Inc. of NY circa 1950s. Maker’s emblems and “Made in Denmark” stamps are present on all (3) pieces. These are true daybeds with the original inner springs. The comfort level is truly superb and was specifically designed for the sleep option. Remove the back bolster of the sofa, or and push the two pieces together, to transform this into a large, cozy and convenient bed. Moreover, the back bolsters can be placed on the drop-down arms to become headrest pillows.

Condition & Restoration:
The set has all new leather fabric, custom executed by our professional upholsterer. Original, heavy, inner-spring cushions are still dense and supportive. Frames have been touched up and detailed top to bottom. Original support straps are in great shape and the corner table top has been professionally refinished by our in-house cabinet shop. Only minor imperfections remain on the sofa frames.
