These teak lounge chairs are in absolutely stunning original condition. A rare time capsule home treasure. We typically restore all of our upholstered finds, but these chairs were in such outstanding condition that we decided to leave the original wool fabric. Not only is the colorful wool fabric a tasteful design choice for any decade, but the orange and lime colors are still rich and vibrant with virtually no sun fading. Soft, yet sturdy foam makes these chairs even more comfortable than they look (and they look pretty comfee).
Our team had no luck deciphering the manufacturer of these chairs, but they do exhibit a style similar to some Swedish designers of the time. The bent teak ply arms however have an unmistakable “Thonet” inspired dip halfway down that is rather uncommon.
