Stunning set of four smoked Lucite dining chairs by Chromcraft. The stylish chairs are formed from molded translucent black acrylic and mounted on an aluminum pedestal. The stem like pedestal terminates at a wide base, eliminating the cacophony of legs typically seen on dining chairs. The “tulip” base was first developed by famed designer Eero Saarinen. Chromcraft borrowed Saarinen’s design and jazzed it up with sleek acrylic and metal finishes. The chairs rotate, making them ideal for home or office setting. Each of the chairs had recently been updated with new black vinyl upholstery on the seats.
