Designed by Davis Allen for Stendig, these Andover chairs demonstrate an interesting mix of design inspiration. Made in Italy, the Andover chairs takes on a classic, Danish Modern profile with hints of Shaker and Mission styles.
All six arm chairs are in outstanding vintage condition. Not only are they sturdy with no loose joints or cracks, the lacquered frames have only minor imperfections. When combined with the new, professionally upholstered black leather seats, these chairs have never looked so elegant, handsome and sophisticated.
Although the solid wood frames take on the appearance of rosewood, they are actually solid beech wood with a rosewood lacquer finish.
