Huge mid century modern walnut and mahogany executive desk by Alma. American made by Alma, from their “Castilian” collection. This is the Cadillac of desks — a piece that would make even Don Draper envious! Atypically large with a beautiful mahogany top resting on a walnut chassis. Smart styling with Scandinavian influence seen in the sleek, tapered exoskeletal legs. Massive amounts of storage with a whopping total of seven drawers! Highlights include two locking drawers at top and a standard size file drawer at left. The finished back side is just as beautiful as the front. There are an extra set of legs at center to support the heavy solid wood desk. The back side has a scalloped knee hole so the piece can double as a partner’s desk. The black vinyl inlay on top is fixed in position — an original feature. This desk is truly a masterpiece of mid 20th Century American design.
