Mid Century Modern wild grain walnut wood triple dresser by famed American designers, Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall. Produced for Drexel’s Declaration line in 1959, this piece is exemplary of the Danish Modern design aesthetic. Simple, clean line design with an unassuming elegance. Less is more, the absence of embellishment allows one to focus on the quality of materials and expert cabinetry. Original hardware with wood pattern inlay in the metal pulls. This is the an alternative version of the Declaration line. The other version has white porcelain pulls. Both renditions of the line are greatly sought after by 20th Century vintage furniture collectors. Tremendous storage capacity with 6 spacious, dove-tail drawers. The center column hosts 4 additional, narrow, yet deep drawers. The top-most center drawer features a small tray for organizing jewelry, cuff links or watches. Use this in the bedroom as a dresser, or in the living room as a credenza entertainment center. We have a matching large mirror (sold separately).
