Description
Mid Century Modern long Danish teak credenza. Designed by Svend Aage Larsen for Faarup Mobelfabrik. Vintage 1960s, teak wood construction. Unit is finished on back side. Can be used as a room divider. Masterful example of Scandinavian cabinetry. Note the tightly hinged tambour doors…they appear as though they are solid panels! Glide these doors to the left or right to reveal the interior space. Expansive area inside for storage. Left side holds a space with a single adjustable height shelf. Center column features a stack of felt-lined, thin drawers. Signature Danish styling here. Right cabinet is huge and holds two adjustable height shelves. Beveled edge along the front facade is minimalist yet distinguishing design element. Solid teak legs support the massive, yet dainty sideboard. Ideal for use as an entertainment center. Store electronic components inside. Access them by effortlessly gliding the doors back. Stow them away for a clean, uncluttered look. Credenza is stamped with the Danish Control mark. A mark reserved for only the finest Danish furniture. A keystone piece for your retro home.
