Description
Vintage Mid-Century Scandinavian Modern Danish teak display cabinet. Ideal as a China hutch or bookcase. Expertly crafted with sleek lip-like, solid teak carved handles gracing the glass doors. Slide open to reveal cabinet space to the right and left with adjustable / removable teak shelves. A shining example of quality in Scandinavian cabinet making. This piece features choice materials and superior handwork. Marks of quality include tight joinery, solid teak sculpted banding around the facade and subtly contoured legs. To add extra detail to the design, the Edmond Spence style legs and skirt are made of a darker toned teak. The contrast creates added depth and emphasis on the design.
This Danish teak china cabinet was created in the 1970’s and taps into the essence of Danish Modern with its clean lines, functional design and expert craftsmanship. We have restored this piece to like-new, near mint condition. The top and sides were professionally refinished by our in-house cabinet shop and it looks amazing.
