Description
This 3-piece set was delicately restored to preserve the original dark patina and we are beyond elated with the end results. We love this line and have never had them in our clutches until now. Because of the variations in walnut grain and the individual aging process, these cabinets are dripping with character. We did our absolute best to recondition these pieces while preserving their dark, oily patina. The tops were professionally refinished by our in-house cabinet shop to match the original and untouched sections. Otherwise detailed top to bottom, inside and out. Designed in the 1960s by famed designer Jens Risom, the key design elements are truly the materials themselves. A mix of solid walnut and walnut veneers over hardwood. The fit, finish and construction is superb. The drawers glide effortlessly on metal rails and the cabinet doors are hung straight as an arrow. The disciplined MCM minimalist style is delicately contrasted and accentuated by the signature carved wood pulls and polished brass back-plates. Stand all three cabinets side by side in any arrangement to create one massive credenza or break them up as individuals or pairs. The modular possibilities allow them to work seamlessly in nearly any room and displayed with a 360 degree view thanks to the finished backs
