Stamped “1979”, this set of velour armchairs possess everything we love about the 1970s, on wheels! Here we have the dramatic high back profile adorned in plush cinnamon-color velour. Take a look from the rear to see the Bauhaus inspired solid oak frames accented with tubular chrome spanners. These chairs are all original, time capsule quality! As if the you haven’t already been won over, they even have wheels. Castors allow one to get about easy and socialize while dining. These are a set of dining chairs that function as side chairs or desk chairs as well.
The Restoration: These frames are held tight by a combination of bolted tension rods and doweled joints. Several joints were re-glued and clamped. All the of the bolts were tightened so they’re good to go. The frames were cleaned and oiled and only have minor imperfections. The fabric is original.
