Description
Comfort is king with this all original 1970s tub chair. The semi-circular shape starts with a lower pitch at the arm and escalates to a greater height at the backrest. This gentle pitch of the arms culminating to the back follows the natural form of a seated body. The deep button tufted cushions are ample and plush. The fabric is a thick, off-white woven wool with reddish tan crosshatch pattern. Tub / Barrel chairs have made a serious resurgence with interior design after being made famous by Milo Baughman during his tenure at Thayer Coggin. The thin, square bar support frame wraps the seat section in an architectural cage of gleaming chrome. Our restoration team has professionally polished the chrome and steam cleaned the fabric to excellent condition. Included are two, removable armrest covers in matching material.
